Some of the items on this page may be marked "Requires Authorization". Why's this? Kiwi must verify the customer's medical history in order to ensure the medication is necessary and used according the direction of a licensed medical practitioner. If you have already demonstrated this, then you may be able to view this product. If not, please email us using the contact page. Medicines have benefits and some have risks. Always read the label and use only as directed. If symptoms persist or you have side effects see your health professional. Brands and generics both contain the same active ingredient(s) and are medically equivalent. Some brands are marketed under different names by the same manufacturer depending on the country of origin. Images are provided as a reference only, the received medicine may vary in packaging, color, pill shape, etc, from one batch to the next. For an item marked "generic" any quality brand may be sent, however you will always receive the active ingredients ordered in the strength(s) ordered.

Testosterone Gel from Kiwi Drug is Shipped from India and comes from a high-quality manufacturer: Sun Pharma

This is shipped with a tracking number.

Equivalent to Testim, Testogel and Androgel.

Testosterone Gel (testosterone) is a testosterone replacement therapy for men who are experiencing symptoms of low testosterone, a condition called hypogonadism. Treatment provides the body with the testosterone no longer being produced naturally, which may partially or completely reverse symptoms.

There are a number of options for testosterone replacement therapy:

  • Skin patches
  • Mouth patches
  • Injections
  • Implants
  • Tablets
  • Gels

All methods have benefits and drawbacks; many men prefer testosterone gel for the ease of use and comfort of application; mouth patches, injections and implants can be uncomfortable, and there is some risk of liver damage associated with taking testosterone orally, as with tablets. Patches often produce local irritation at the application site, and may fall off if they become damp.

Getting the Most from Testosterone Gel

Reduced testosterone production is a natural part of the aging process for men, but not all men experience disruptive symptoms, such as:

  • Loss of bone density
  • Decreased height
  • Voice changes
  • Loss of libido
  • Erectile dysfunction
  • Decreased strength, energy and endurance
  • Loss of facial and body hair
  • Irritability and/or depression
  • Loss of muscle mass
  • Weight gain

Low testosterone is not the only condition which may produce such symptoms; levels should be verified by a doctor before starting treatment. Likewise, treatment is not recommended when symptoms are not severe enough to be disruptive, even if testosterone levels are determined to be low.

Testosterone gel comes in sachets, with each sachet representing one dose which should be applied in entirety. Administration is fairly simple, though there are some things to keep in mind to ensure treatment remains trouble-free:

  • The product is flammable; do not use while smoking or near open flames.
  • Wash and dry hands and the application site, usually the shoulders, upper arms, abdomen or inner thighs.
  • Don't apply testosterone gel to other areas of the body; painful skin irritation may occur.
  • Wait 15 minutes for gel to dry before covering with clothing.
  • Wash hands and all surfaces which the gel came into contact with.
  • Dispose of empty sachets and cleaning materials carefully to prevent accidental contact by others, including pets.
  • Do not allow others to contact medicated skin, or allow medicated skin to contact other surfaces such as furniture or bedding.
  • Wait 2 to 5 hours before allowing medicated skin to become wet.
  • Wash thoroughly with soap and water to remove completely prior to skin-to-skin contact with others.

The most commonly recommended treatment is one dose (one sachet) of testosterone gel once per day. This should not be exceeded without explicit doctor approval, as the risk of side effects becomes greater.

Some men notice improvement within just days of starting treatment with testosterone gel, but it may take several months of treatment for the full benefits to be felt.

Warnings

Very rarely testosterone replacement therapy may be used in women, but these are special circumstances. In general women and children should not even handle testosterone gel (or any product containing testosterone, including tablets), as it is designed to be easily absorbed into the skin, and it may produce unpleasant or dangerous side effects, such as early puberty or facial hair.

Use of testosterone gel, or any testosterone replacement product, may worsen benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) and may put men at greater risk of developing prostate cancer; those at risk of developing these conditions should not use the product.

Testosterone replacement may alter insulin sensitivity (usually by decreasing blood glucose). It also may cause fluid and salt retention, which may be a concern for patients with cardiac, renal or hepatic issues; speak with a doctor before use, and schedule regular checkups to monitor for developing complications.

Testosterone Gel

My regular insurance doesn't cover Androgel because of it's cost, but I had a doctor from New Zealand a few years back that told me about Kiwi Drug. I've been happy with the service and this product. ...My doctor tells me I have almost perfect testosterone levels for someone on replacement therapy.

Testosterone Gel

This is a high quality product that is worth waiting on the shipping. Note that while you can pay for EMS shipping, it gets sent via registered mail, which is NOT EMS mail (registered is slower). The ...product arrived with 2 packets leaking, apparently the seal on these two packets was not quite what it should be. The product itself is quite acceptable in quality.
