The gel is 100% natural, containing no synthetic ingredients of any kind. Inspired by traditional plant-based medicines, only organic botanicals are used and to a large extent traditional preparations are followed. With the addition of more modern understandings of biology and medicines, the resulting gel is effective, safe and surprisingly inexpensive.

The gel is easy to apply to skin; it dries quickly, leaving a protective barrier over the injury without leaving a greasy residue. It may sting briefly when first applied, but cooling, soothing relief is felt within seconds.
There are no known side effects associated with Weleda Combudoron Gel, though as with any product there is a small risk of allergic reaction. In topical ointments allergic reactions tend to be localized to the application site; if a reaction does occur, rinse the gel off immediately and seek medical attention if severe.
In summary the gel is an excellent alternative to first aid creams which contain synthetic ingredients and drugs which may cause side effects or complications. Safe for use by the whole family, this effective gel is a must-have for any first-aid kit.
Directions for Use
For the most part Weleda Combudoron Gel can be applied as-needed to relieve pain, itching or other discomfort. Apply a small amount of gel to the affected area and allow it to dry. Burns or scalds should first be placed in cool water until the initial pain begins to recede.
As symptoms improve, the gel can be applied two or three times per day to promote healing. Apply two or three times per day at evenly-spaced intervals to treat rashes.
The gel should not applied to large open wounds or infected skin. Severe or extensive burns warrant immediate medical attention.
