How to Use

Harker Herbals General Tonic should be used daily for at least a couple weeks at a time. It may be taken indefinitely if desired. For the first 2 or 3 days of treatment one-quarter or one-half doses should be taken so the body can adjust to treatment. Dosage depends largely on age:

• Adults should take 5 to 10 ml, 3 or 4 times per day.
• Children should take one-half the adult dose, 3 or 4 times per day.
• Babies should be given one-quarter the adult dose, 3 or 4 times per day.
• Shake bottle well before dispensing each dose.
• Avoid consuming coffee, tea, or other caffeinated products for 20 minutes before and after each dose.
• Swill each dose in the mouth for 10 seconds before swallowing.

The tonic works best if taken directly. Drops work well for babies. Each dose may be mixed with hot water for a more diluted-tasting tea, if desired.
