Here are several ways recommended for Vitaros Alprostadil Cream storage.
Store in a refrigerator (2°C - 8°C).
Vitaros Alprostadil Cream must be stored in a refrigerator (2°C – 8°C) to maintain its effectiveness and potency. The temperature should not go higher than this, or else the cream could lose its effectiveness.
Do not freeze.
You shouldn’t freeze Vitaros Alprostadil Cream because freezing will damage the medication and make it less effective over time. The patient can store the unopened sachets at room temperature (below 25 °C) for up to three days before using them.
Avoid Exposure to Sunlight
The active ingredient in Vitaros Alprostadil is prone to destruction due to sunlight exposure. To keep the cream’s effectiveness, keep it away from sunlight or other strong sources of light. If exposed to light, its effectiveness in curing ED reduces dramatically.

I used it several times and had very different results. Sometimes works great, sometimes not at all. May be it depends on the time from shipping out to arrival at the user. In most cases when I receiv...ed the product the cooling elements already showed no effect anymore. As I'm in tropical climate conditions (Hong Kong) the outside temperature is most of the time over 30 Celsius. Express shipping is not offered for Hong Kong.

Being a current user of Injectable ED medication (EDEX) I was excited to hear of the new product Vitaros, which is, basically the same medication (alprostadil) with a different delivery method NOT i...nvolving injecting medication directly into the penis with a syringe, and different from MUSE which uses a urethral suppository which takes much longer to melt and absorb. The packaging is simply to open, and the instructions are simple too. Easy to carry with you and apply when the mood hits too. The applicator simply inserts into your urethra, not very deep, may be a quarter inch, and not painful at all. Then you just squeeze the container to push the contents inside. That's it. The instruction tell you to hold your penis upright for a few minutes so it absorbs. Even after three minutes, you can feel the medication working. Within five minutes, I had a full functional erection to be proud of!! Caveats: Best results? Drink alcohol lightly if at all. More and it will affect the hardness of your erections and the amount of time it last. Save the drink for afterwards A great product and for the life of me can't see why USDA has not approved it..it probably has some of the same minor side effects as the injectable form of this drug without the really bad side effects like bruising of the skin, scarring of the penis tissue and possible PEYRONIE’S disease (curvature of the penis). I nor my partner (wife) could not detect any taste left over from this medication before or after ejaculation..
