Bydureon is an injectable drug prescribed to people with type 2 diabetes to be used along with exercise and diet. Getting Ready

Once you get your Bydureon Single-DOse Tray, you need to confirm its contents. The tray will contain 1 vial connector alcohol swab, 2 needles, one syringe, and one Bydureon vial. A container for discarding used syringes, vials, and needles will also be included.

Storing the Single-Dose Trays of BYDUREON

It’s advisable to keep the Bydureon trays refrigerated at 36 degrees Fahrenheit to 46 degrees Fahrenheit (2 degrees Celsius to 8 degrees Celsius. The trays should stay in the fridge for a maximum of 4 weeks.

Always protect the medication from light as you prepare and use it. Avoid freezing the Bydureon trays or using the medication past its expiration date. You can find the expiration date denoted as EXP on the tray’s paper cover.

Be aware of the humidity and heat in the bathroom, which can lower the effectiveness of Bydureon. In this case, don’t use the medicine cabinet in your bathroom, and ensure that the trays are sealed until you use them.

As with other drugs, Bydureon should be kept out of children’s reach at all times. You can also keep the Bydureon tray out of the fridge at 68 degrees Fahrenheit to 77 degrees Fahrenheit for a maximum of four weeks. Storing Bydureon While Traveling

Remember that heat can damage your diabetes equipment, including your blood sugar monitor. You should also pack a cooler to keep your drinking water and healthy foods cool and fresh.
